Strange land, strange faces
familiarity will never come
my heart not letting it.
Home, where is home?
the home I left behind never to return
as girl, as woman lost
forever, lost again
in a sea of strange faces
alone I sleep, I wake, I feed
on my soul, punishment
leaving behind love,
love for a girl no more
and yet finding love again
as woman, and again
in his arms for eternity
I pray, and still... alone.
