When I came to Canada for my higher studies I was overwhelmed and excited. Going through H4Help.org site I was overwhelmed by the problems the dependent visa holders are facing, most of whom are women. Being an advocate of gender issues, I could not wait to write a piece about it. Unlike millions of illegal immigrants these dependent visa holders are in the US legally and would like to work in the area of their expertise and support themselves and contribute to the national economy as well.
